Overall the unit is well made, the instructions could be a little better. I received extra screws however I was shorted 4 nuts!

I will start off by saying that this cabinet leaves a lot to be desired but I give it a pretty high rating due to the price point. To get a cabinet this size with this many features for ,$255 at the time I bought it, is unheard of. So if you need something to keep cost down this will do the trick.

Pros: Price, Fan included, fully adjustable, captivated nut attachment points on rack, great access from front rear, and sides.

Cons: My first one came damaged, however CablesNmore was quick to send a replacement. They are a great company to deal with. Both of them were missing the latch mechanism to hold the cabinet from swinging away from the back so I had to fabricate something there. Also on the subject of that very latch, it is located in the middle of the cabinet and the cabinet hangs from the hinges so as you can imagine once weighted down the cabinet starts to sag away from its mount and then the latch lets go and allows to cabinet to open and it wont stay latched. If security is important in this cabinet then look elsewhere, it's pretty flimsy. The locking mechanisms are pretty cheesy as well. I ended up screwing some toggle clamps to the outside of the cabinet to hold it shut. In my case it was a home install so security wasn't an issue it was mainly price point here. Another con is the way the knockouts are held in . One of these came busted out in the packaging forcing me to use a hole that I otherwise wouldn't have used. It also takes quite a bit of time to assemble and there are a lot of pieces so if time is of the essence you may look for a pre-assembled unit. Also it doesn't come with enough captivatede nuts and screws for the rack mounts to hang your switches and panels from so you need to order more of those when you get the cabinet.

Ultimately I will use these cabinets again in home network applications. With a few modifications they can be made to work very nicely.
